Wonderful weather

I just LOVE spring :) It's still winter but the weather is becoming more spring like each day.
The weather was so nice this weekend, we were all outside doing things. Tim helped the boys fix their bikes and we all cleaned out the garage. Everyone in the neighborhood was outside as it was just so nice.

Saturday night and Sunday it rained but it was still so nice. I love spring..oh I said that. The weather is a bit cloudy today as it's raining again off and on but I still love it. I have a bit of a sinus cold but I'm still planning on walking this afternoon :)

My lesson in RS yesterday was a tough one. It was my very first lesson in RS and it was on Elder Bednar's conference talk "Clean hands and a Pure heart" great talk, just a tough lesson to do. I'm excited for next months lesson on Elder Teh's talk "Out of Small Things"

Next week I get to do music for primary :) I'm so excited to do it. I love doing the primary music. The kids are so fun and love to sing. This sunday will also be Brandon's last sunday in sharing time for Primary as he will be turning 12 on the 5th. He's so very excited to be turning 12.

Well, I have laundry to do now so I've got to run :)

Christmas 2007

We had such a wonderful time this Christmas. As a family, we decided to use our Christmas money to go to Idaho for a week. On our way to Idaho, we just had to stop at Emigrant Springs state park where we camp(cabin) every summer.

I have always wanted to have a family picture in the snow in front of a cabin so we did it this year.

We had so much fun playing in the snow as we don't get much snow in Hermiston. Jazzy, our puppy loved romping in the snow.

While we were in Idaho, we attended first ward (our home). It was so nice to see so many friends/family and visit with everyone there. It was also so nice to be in the ward on such a special sunday before Christmas. We miss and love the singing in first ward. There is no other place that we have experienced such musical wonder.

We were able to visit with many friends that we haven't seen since April. It was just great to be back in Idaho and be able to relax and feel at home.

The boys had fun playing with cousins and friends. Brandon was able to play with cousin Steven for a few hours.

We also were able to visit Hale's from Emmet and see their new home WOW!!!!!

Aaron and the boys had a blast visiting with Banner's from Fruitland. We were there for such a long time...we didn't want to leave. We all had a great time visiting with them and seeing how much everyone has changed :) WOW!!!!!

It was so sad to leave but we did leave a day early as there were blizzard warnings. Thank goodness we did leave early. Some friends from here were in an accident in Baker about the same time we would have been there had we not left early.

We are so blessed to have such wonderful friends and family in our lives. This Christmas was an extra special one that we will remember for a long time to come. The true spirit of Christ was in our hearts and felt throughout the whole season and is still felt with fond memories of our Idaho Christmas.

First blog

Okay, this is my first blog on here so I'm playing around. Angela pointed me in the direction here. I love reading friends blogs and keeping up with everyone, although it does make me miss "home".

There is so much going on in our lives...some of which won't be spoken of but the good stuff will be posted :) I'll try to get things caught up to speed....such as our Christmas vacation :)
